Global Sports & Development Leaders 2026
Prof. Dr. Zahid Haque is a multidisciplinary leader whose work brings together medicine, sports science, public health, organizational development, and international leadership. His career has been shaped by a strong belief that sport can serve as a powerful platform for health, education, inclusion, youth development, and sustainable social progress.
As a medical doctor, sports scientist, and international development professional, Zahid has worked with ministries across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, European sports federations, African NGOs, and private-sector organizations in the Gulf.
