Apulian company Zero & Company, based in Terlizzi, continues its growth trajectory in the technical and sporty-chic fashion segment, continuing to focus on its flagship brand, Suns, while also expanding its projects for its other labels, Akep and Cotazur.
“The 2025 fiscal year closed in line with the previous year, at 21 million euros in revenue,” Pasquale Vendola, CEO of Zero & Company.
“Obviously, the sector is feeling the effects of a truly unique economic climate. Therefore, we are satisfied and believe that 2026 will also be a successful year, at least on par with 2025. Suns remains our flagship brand.”
For Suns, the Terlizzi-based company is focusing on retail, with a new store scheduled to open soon in downtown Bari, which will join the brand’s ten existing standalone stores.
“We’re working on opening another single-brand store in Tirana, Albania, a market that’s culturally very similar to Italy in terms of tastes,” reveals Vendola.
Men’s collections account for the lion’s share of Suns’ revenue, ranging from 60% in the winter collection to 75% in the summer line, while the breakdown by category is 70% men’s and 30% women’s apparel. Kidswear accounts for about 10%. “The ‘mini-me’ line is something we continue to offer because it helps the company provide a comprehensive service,” explains Vendola.
The CEO of Zero & Company is also working on expanding Suns’ accessories line.
“We define ourselves as a travel brand, so we’re focusing on expanding our accessories line. Now that we’ve established our luggage line, we’re putting a lot of effort into backpacks and bags,” he emphasizes.
Additionally, Suns now dedicates more space to its beachwear lines.
“The brand’s essence stems from a surf spirit a segment where we’ve consolidated our position in recent years. The concept behind Suns is no longer just going to the beach, but experiencing a vacation by the pool, at evening parties, and sipping cocktails so it’s become more fashion-forward.”
Zero & Company continues to manage the women’s apparel brand Akep, which Vendola describes as growing, especially abroad, where he aims to expand it further after having launched it in eight additional European markets, notably Poland, Spain, and Portugal.
In addition, the portfolio still includes Cotazur, a “Made in Puglia” brand offering beachwear, resortwear, total-look outfits, and women’s accessories, acquired between 2024 and 2025 and distributed through multi-brand retailers in Italy, France, Spain, and Greece.
“We’re considering opening a standalone Cotazur store in a seaside town in Italy. It depends on the opportunity. We’ll look into it for 2027,” concludes Vendola.
